The No Strings Attached Quartet (the “Quartet”)


Hiring the Quartet:

The fee for the hire of the Quartet will be advised to you before you pay your deposit, which includes the 4 musicians, the set-up, the number of hours requested on your booking form and mileage within Jersey.

To make a booking with us, you will need to complete the Online Booking Form (available from www.NoStringsAttachedQuartet.co.uk (the “website”)) in addition to which, we require you to agree to these Terms & Conditions. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you accept, understand and agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. Once we have received your completed form, we will contact you to confirm the booking and fee. At this point you will also need to provide a deposit of 25%. We will not secure your booking without receiving this deposit.

The Quartet reserves the right to use substitue players without notice due to players unavailablity.


Equipment:

The Quartet does not supply its own PA system. Should the size of the venue require any amplification, it remains the responsibility of those hiring the Quartet to provide any such equipment. The Quartet require four armless chairs to be made available for all events.


Payment and deposit:

As stated above, a deposit is paid when securing the booking. The booking will not be secured without payment of the deposit. The balance will be payable either in cash or cheque to 'No Strings Attached Quartet' no later than 3 days before the event. We will also accept a bank transfer providing that funds are cleared into the Quartet bank account no later than 3 days before the event. Generally please allow 4 working days for funds to clear. If you would prefer to pay the full fee at the time of the deposit, please feel free to do so.
Should you need to cancel the event; if you have paid the full amount, you will be repaid minus the sum of the deposit up to 48 hours before the event.
Please note that late payments will incur a surcharge of 5% of the total fee (including the deposit) which will roll over monthly until the balance is paid in full.


Cancellation Policy:

Once the booking has been confirmed and deposit received, any cancellation by you before the event date will result in the loss of that deposit. Please be advised that any cancellations made within the 48 hours preceding the event will require full payment for the hire of the Quartet.
In the extremely unlikely event that the Quartet should have to withdraw from the event, you will receive any fees paid.


Extra Hours:

A flat fee of £200 per half hour or part thereof will be charged if you request us to play longer on the day or if we are required to stay longer at your event and is dependent on the availability of all players. These fees will be invoiced to you within 7 days with payment due 14 days from invoice date.


Minimum Set-up Requirements:

A string quartet consists of 2 violins, 1 viola and a cello. We sit to perform and so will require 4 armless chairs and a minimum space of 1.5m x 2.5m (approx. 5' x 8').


Your Information:

Please note that the No Strings Attached Quartet only require personal information for the purpose of handling your booking or enquiry. We will keep this information until the date of your function, after which it will be securely deleted from our records.
